The choice to create a roundabout at Bivio di San Biagio, in addition to solving problems related to traffic, establishes an urban regeneration element and improves the usability of the territory. The roundabout is one of the most interesting and modern types of intersection between road infrastructure and unlike the other types of intersection, no priority is given to any of the intersecting street. The intervention mainly concerns the four main a major transit roads: Strada Provinciale 146 of Chianciano, Via della Circonvallazione V. Cozzani and via della Rimembranza. At the center there’s an installation made up of terracotta elements that in way evocative recall the Senese vases (Orci) and the wine glasses, typical element of the territory. These object there are partly made of terracotta and partly of wire mesh, to promote greater visibility during the day and become bright elements at night.
