Year: 2014
Project: OKS Architetti
Program: Commercial and office
Type: Private commission

Turkuaz Tower. The project is based on the purpose of creating a monolithic element made of an easily recognizable volume. The outer walls of the two volumes are made of metal plates covered with blue ceramic tiles. The cutted surfaces are covered with ceramic tiles inspired by the motifs of the local ceramics. Dervish Tower. The project is based on the purpose of assigning a strong iconic value to the building and developing a tower with a dynamic and innovative character. The shape of the tower is inspired by the Dervish dance. The twist, facing the Bosphorus, favors the view to the surrounding landscape. The skin covering steel is based on the reinterpretation of the kundekari art, reproposing the motifs and using them in a contemporary way.
