Riqualificazione interni chiesa San Piero in Palco

The interior renovation project for the Church of San Piero in Palco was developed to enhance the spatial and functional quality of the building, focusing on acoustics, lighting, and the liturgical space. The aim is to enrich the experience of worshippers and improve the use of the interiors while preserving the church’s architectural identity. The intervention includes the installation of a continuous system of wooden sound-absorbing panels along the inner perimeter wall, integrated with the fixed furnishings, the organ, and the Stations of the Cross. The roof is also upgraded with acoustic solutions designed to improve the overall sound comfort within the nave. The new lighting concept is based on a radial arrangement of luminaires that evokes the image of a starry sky, creating a contemplative atmosphere while highlighting the main liturgical elements. The project also includes the redesign of the presbytery and the renewal of selected architectural features, creating a more welcoming, efficient, and contemporary space that responds to the needs of today’s religious community.
